While you are primarily responsible for locating a site for your HALT!® store, we will offer you assistance in the site selection process and ultimately approve sites that conform to our general guidelines for HALT!® stores. We will give you the option, free of charge, to work directly with our commercial real estate broker, who will utilize consumer profiles and demographic research to assist you in your search. This critical data, coupled with key factors such as location size, visibility, traffic counts, anchor tenancy, co-tenancy, rental rates, lease terms, and competition variables, will allow you to make an educated decision regarding your site selection.
The average store size is approximately 500 square feet. However, we can accommodate just about any size location from 200-2000 sq ft.
Example: The estimated initial investment for a 500 square foot HALT!® store within the area of Chandigarh ranges from approximately Rs 18 lakhs-Rs 25 lakhs. This range includes a one-time initial fee, three months’ rent, lease, utility and security deposits, design and architectural fees, leasehold improvements, furniture and fixtures, signage, a computer system, professional fees, equipment, business licenses and permits, initial inventory (ranging from Rs 10 lakh – Rs 15 lakh), the costs of attending orientation training, insurance, miscellaneous operating costs, and other initial start-up expenses. The initial investment for a new HALT!® store will vary based on factors such as the location of your HALT!® store, specific cost structure and current relevant market conditions, how well you follow our methods and procedures, your management skills, your business experience and capabilities, local economic conditions, the local market for our products and services, the prevailing wage rates, competition, and sales levels and the rate of sales growth that you are able to achieve during your initial phase of business operations and thereafter. That said, To be considered for a HALT!® store franchise, you must have immediate access to the funds needed to cover, at a minimum, the estimated initial investment.

Yes. Our experts will guide you through the entire process of building out and setting up your HALT! store. Once your location has been selected and approved, we will set up a timeline of events that will end with the actual grand opening of your HALT! store. Rest assured, your hand will be held through this entire process.

Yes. We offer an extensive, 2-week orientation training program for 2 attendees free of charge. This program will cover everything you need to know in order to properly operate a HALT!® store.
Yes. In addition to the 2-week orientation training program, we may offer continuing education programs on matters related to the operation or promotion of your HALT!® store and will make our personnel available to you for ongoing consultation. In fact, prior to your HALT!® store opening, you will be assigned a team leader who will be your primary contact and will be responsible for assisting you in the ongoing operations of your HALT!® store.
Yes. Our extremely talented and experienced in-house graphic design and marketing team is here to assist our HALT!® store franchisees with their design and marketing needs. We have a vast library of pre-designed templates for social media, flyers, postcards, print ads, direct mail, email campaigns, posters, vehicle wraps, billboards, banners, yard signs, and more. In addition, our graphic design department can create custom-designed pieces to fit a franchisee’s specific marketing needs. In addition, our user-friendly website, HALT!.in along with national marketing, is designed to drive customers to the HALT!® store network. All the assistance we provide in designing and developing advertising is free of charge.

After reviewing the HALT!® retail store Franchise Disclosure Document, visiting our corporate offices, meeting with our corporate team and having had all of your questions answered, your application and file will once again be reviewed and considered for final approval.
- Sign Documents:
If we provide you with our final approval on your application, the final step in the process will be to sign the HALT!® retail store Franchise Agreement and related documents that will govern the operation of your HALT!® store.
